Qweerty Gamers

Qweerty Gamers / 2020-2021

I met Qweerty Gamers in late 2019 at PAX, an annual gaming convention in Seattle, WA. After the show, they reached out to me to work on their website, and our relationship quickly flourished as I took on more projects and became acquainted with their core leaders. As I grew into the Creative Director role at Qweerty Gamers, I have worked on their website, social media marketing, and brand identity.

Qweerty Gamers provides a safe platform for both developers and LGBTQ Gamers to connect and learn from each other. We offer developers access to the unique perspectives of dedicated LGBTQ Gamers, consultations on queer representation, focus groups on game development, as well as programs and workshops to develop skills and prepare LGBTQ Gamers for careers within the industry.

COMING SOON

I initially worked with Qweerty Gamers’ web developer to implement my new website design in early 2020. We eventually decided to move the website to SquareSpace, so it would be easier for Qweerty staff to update in the future. When making the switch, I recreated my concept using its website builder.

Since the recent brand update, we have been working with a new web developer and are excited to be working on a new version of the website that will bring Qweerty Gamers up to par with other non-profits on the web.
